“Our guide, Sameer, was excellent and made the day enjoyable for all the family. He shared a lot about the history of the island during the day as well as his own story - he is a very proud Mauritian and clearly enjoys his job. The tour itself covers many areas across the North of the island from the capital Port Louis, the Botanical gardens, the Tamil temple, the red church and the wonderful beaches of the NW coast. Its excellent value for money and well worth adding to your itinerary when in Mauritius. We've now booked Sameer again to show us the highlights of the SW.”

See Mauritius through gardens, sugar history, Citadelle views, Odysseo, and Port Louis on an eight-hour guided tour from Grand Baie.

“It was a good tour with some spirited commentary by the guide through the day. The afternoon hours could have been extended to accommodate one more place of visit rather than leave guests at the last point of visit to spend 3 hours at. Port Louis market is for shopping and not all visitors go on guided tours for shopping!”

Review of Mauritius’s private Grand Baie tour covering Pamplemousses, L’Aventure du Sucre, Citadel Fort, Odysseo, and Port Louis.

“To really appreciate this botanical garden you need to be really interested in trees. There is an area with spice trees and our guide gave us some leqves and talked about them which really was the highlght of the visit. It's a pity that the colonial mansion on the property is not being used.”
